About Us.

Christian Fellowship - Jacksonville is a diverse group of people who love Jesus and are carrying out the Great Commission here in the Jacksonville, Florida, area.  We are affiliated with our home church in Norfolk, Virginia which you can view HERE...

No matter where you are on your Christian journey, whether you're seeking biblical answers, or you just need a friend to talk to, we're here for you.

Our Activities.

Just like the early church, we meet in small groups and intimate settings such as church members' homes, community centers, online, and even at your home if you would like an in-home Bible study or prayer. 

 

Although we don't have a physical building in Jacksonville (yet), we are abundantly available for visitation, prayer, phone calls, Internet calls, and whatever means are available to connect.

If you like to hide in the back of a large congregation, this may not be the place for you.  You can't hide here.  Just sayin'...

Home Fellowship.

Whether for a Bible study, a meal, or simply talking around the fire pit, home fellowship provides an intimate experience.

Community Meet Up.

We meet at various locations in the community for coffee, encouraging conversation, and Bible studies.

Online.

We originally thought COVID-19 was a hindrance to our fellowship... until we began to utilize Zoom...

    Wednesday Night Fellowship

    This fellowship opportunity is our time to interact with each other in an informal way.  We generally have prayer, a Bible study / message, praise and worship songs, and opportunity to interact with each other.

  • THURSDAYS - 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM (EST)

    Thursday Base Bible Study

    This Fellowship is geared toward our military sisters and brothers, but anyone is welcomed to attend.

  • SATURDAYS - 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM (EST)

    Saturday Evening Fellowship

    This fellowship time began as a time for Cedric to connect with coworkers, friends, and family, and has taken off with many others joining in.  So... feel free to jump on this Zoom fellowship with us.

The Coronavirus pandemic caused us to become creative in how we connected for fellowship opportunities.   Interestingly, we are reaching more people than ever through Zoom.

Our Resources.

You have questions?  We have answers.  Well, not all of them.  But we know where to find them!  We have a vast network of resources online plus human beings around the world who would love to connect with you.

Bible Studies.

Our focus is on sound Christian doctrine and we adhere to the maxim of Augustine of Hippo: 'In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity."

There are some teachings that are unequivocal and certain, and absolutely essential if we intend to meet the Lord Jesus in peace.  There are other passages of the Bible that are not so clear which we may never understand on this side of eternity.  We seek to stand firmly on essential truths, but remain charitable on other topics.  We're not looking for an argument, we're seeking to uplift Jesus and help you to develop your relationship with Him!
